Introducing: The Gospel & ...
Because God Can Be Found In Everything
My faith came alive when I realized that God’s existence is not dependent on my belief in Him. He is there whether I acknowledge His presence or not. His ways unfold in the universe whether I choose to see them or not. Sin always brings about disorder and dysfunction. Righteousness always brings with it peace and goodness. The Gospel message is constantly playing out in creation, current events, and human souls.
If you are reading this, welcome! You may know me from my thirteen years in full-time ministry. Over the past five years, I was a content creator for Walking with Purpose. During that time, I published my book Rekindled and the Bible Studies Reclaiming Friendship, Rooted and Radiant, and Passionate Discipleship. I have written years of blogs, created many hours of video content, and spoken to thousands of women nationwide. These years have been some of the best of my life, and I am humbled at what God has done in me, through me, and how even the hard times, especially the hard times, He has drawn me closer to God. Thank you to all who have bought my books, listened to my talks, or who I’ve met in person at different churches and conferences across the country. I have been edified by your stories and have seen how God uses your gifts for His glory.
Now, God is leading me out into something new, and I hope you will come along. I love the Bible. It has been a dream of mine to write Bible studies, and I plan to continue to bring scripture to life in some capacity. But anyone who knows me also knows that I love history. I devour documentaries and popular history books. I have strong opinions about famous people and the drama that surrounds them. I follow politics more than I should and care deeply about fashion. My interests are broad, and I look for the Gospel message in all of them. God uses everything to get to our hearts, and so in everything, we should be able to find Him.
And so, welcome to The Gospel & …
Join me as we discuss how the Gospel reveals itself in trending stories, events, politics, and media. Dive in with me as we stumble our way through learning how to pray, read the scriptures, and live out the call of Christianity.
I have always wanted to start conversations about whatever is going on in the world and draw out the Gospel message. Here, that is precisely what we will do.
Last weekend, I was at a retreat, and Sister Miriam Heidland said, “Christianity was never meant to be sin management. He came to divinize us.” God is calling us into something far greater than simply avoiding sin; he is calling us into an adventure that invades our hearts, souls, and daily lives. In all of it, He seeks to captivate us and make us holy.
I am going to take a break and finish all the DIY projects I started at home but have not finished. These last days of 2024 will be slow as I plan to sit in prayer and enjoy time with my family. In early 2025, I’ll be back with fresh content here on this Substack page, a podcast, and other fun projects coming down the pipe.
Because if something is going on, whether it’s the fall of Hollywood celebrities, the rise of Ballerina Farm, Emily in Paris, social trends, chaos in your life, or movements of your heart, God is there; you just need to look for Him.
See you in 2025!

I am so looking forward to this! I just saw the Walking with Purpose email.
I love everything you write! So exciting!
